When comparing to the original Blackjack game, Vegas Downtown Blackjack is different in the following ways;

If you split an ace, and then receive a 10, the value of your hand will not be Blackjack but 21.
This means that the hand can be beaten by a dealer Blackjack.

The dealer must hit on soft 17, ( if the dealer has an ace and a 6 he must hit ) slightly increasing the players chance of winning the hand as the dealer has a bigger chance to bust.
